I love old books....

One summer in the early 1980s I lost myself and my summer camp campers in the woods overnight. Novice compass skills only added to our lostness as we kept orienting our course from our position....which was LOST. I was a teenage counselor-in-training at the time and the experience has become a metaphor for my faith. I still get 'lost in the woods' sometimes, but I am seeking to orient my course on Truth.

Those pictures bring back memories of books "old" people would let me look through when I was but a wee one. We owned many Little Golden Books, as well. You have quite a treasury.
You have some siblings of my 'little old book' collection. They are my treasured friends. My grandmother was a school teacher - one room school house in Idaho for decades - and she taught remedial reading after she turned 65. She gave me some of her supplies and I adore them.
Thanks for this lovely look at teeny tiny tot books.
