One summer in the early 1980s I lost myself and my summer camp campers in the woods overnight. Novice compass skills only added to our lostness as we kept orienting our course from our position....which was LOST. I was a teenage counselor-in-training at the time and the experience has become a metaphor for my faith. I still get 'lost in the woods' sometimes, but I am seeking to orient my course on Truth.

Late bloomers do elicit smiles, don't they. Last Saturday Tom did the old 'close your eyes and open your mouth' thing. A huge red ripe strawberry! Oh yum! And he had three more in his hand for himself and the girls.
Beautiful photos!
